| Mode Of Action | Phosphodiasterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors such sildenafil work by improving blood flow to the penis. During sexual stimulation, penile nerve endings and endothelial cells release Nitric oxide. This activates the enzyme guanylate cyclase, resulting the production of cGMP ? a vasodilator. |
